I believe in building a strong relationship as the foundation for change, and using this collaboration to explore which evidence based and client centered approaches will be most helpful for you. We'll work together to figure out what's right for you based on your own strengths, needs, and preferences. My background in substance abuse counseling as well as crisis services has taught me to be flexible and to recognize the unique challenges which each individual faces and assets they bring to overcome these challenges. Typically, I focus on cognitive behavioral therapy, narrative therapy, and motivational interviewing. I have experience with a wide spectrum of needs and challenges, however my specialties are anxiety, depression, severe and persistent mental illness, and substance abuse. At the core of my work is an unconditional positive regard for each of my clients. If you are interested in working together, please don't hesitate to reach out and I'll be happy to chat with you to answer any questions you might have and set up an initial appointment. All my services are telehealth at this time, I made this shift due to the pandemic but have found that the added convenience has been of great value to my clients.
