I am located at Nashville Neuro Psychiatric Associates near Music Row. Grief, anxiety, trauma, and sports performance are my primary areas of interest. As a former athlete, coach, and organizational leader, I understand the impact our inner voice has upon our confidence, mood, and relationships. Gaining insight into ourselves can free us to overcome obstacles that seemed historically insurmountable. I enjoy working with children adolescents and adults; athletes, artists, and actors. Depending on the unique needs of the individual, we may utilize approaches from humanistic, psychodynamic, CBT, DBT, and psychoeducation. I completed an MS in Human Performance and MA in mental health counseling. I began working in mental health more than 20 years ago with experience in crisis assessment, inpatient, PHP, and IOP. I have been involved with outpatient services for 8yr including certifications and training in counseling, neurofeedback, and TMS. Listening to our heart can help us find our voice. Reach out for a listening, accepting, and non-judgemental ear. Transferring our thoughts to words and sharing with another individual allows growth and perspective. I will be your teammate along the voyage of self-discovery and we may even share some laughter.
