Hello! I'm Sydney, a provisionally licensed professional counselor in O'Fallon, MO. Before my time as a plpc, I was given the opportunity to work in a partial hospitalization program for disordered eating, which truly shaped my understanding of the complexities people face and the value of therapeutic connection. One of the things I value most in my work is the chance to connect with people of all backgrounds and ages. As a younger clinician, I find that I can build genuine, empathetic relationships with children, teens and young adults, offering a perspective that resonates with their experiences and challenges. I’m dedicated to working with individuals, navigating anything from major life adjustments—like the loss of a loved one or a traumatic experience—to ongoing struggles with depression and anxiety. My approach is always client-centered. I believe in walking alongside individuals in their therapeutic journey, supporting them with warmth and understanding as they explore and address the challenges they face. I also believe in staying true to myself, which means I like to intertwine professionalism with some light-hearted humor. I look forward to the opportunity to work with you! :)
