I offer ONLINE and PHONE counseling. After 25 years in practice, I read John Gottman's best selling book "The Seven Principles for Making Marriage Work". I was intrigued and attended a Level One Gottman training in San Francisco. It was fortunate that this was a training with both John and Julie Gottman - I was hooked on the Gottman Method of couple counseling and embarked on the intensive 2 year training necessary to obtain certification in the Gottman method. The Gottmans are at the leading edge of thought in the field of couple counseling. Their methods are based on 40 years of research with thousands of couples. Gottman therapists are qualified to provide support to couples, families, and individuals on many issues in addition to couple therapy, including anxiety, depression, addiction, trauma, abuse, and blended family issues. Gottman therapists are trained to assist all types of couples, married, unmarried, gay, or straight. I am able to collaborate with Gottman therapists around the world. Being part of this professional community and accessing it's support and consultation has benefitted my work with clients.
