About

You are the greatest determinant of your well-being. It takes courage and strength to address issues that are troubling. In practice for over 30 years with advanced training in psychotherapy, I am also on the faculty of Columbia University and New York University Schools of Social Work. My experience has given me great insight into working with a diverse group of individuals and couples who bring a variety of personal and interpersonal problems at varying stages of their lives. I place great value in developing caring and collaborative relationships with my patients. Together we work towards self understanding and improvement.

Whether the problems be relational, career, family, distressing symptoms, or wanting to sort out things to enhance your life, I tailor our work together to fit who you are. Therapy is about change and self awareness. My approach is based on understanding and addressing one's past experiences, current situation and future goals.

I welcome the opportunity to discuss your situation and needs.
