Hey everyone! I'm excited to connect with you. I specialize in Telemental Health, Grief, and Trauma. With experience supporting adults in a college setting, my aim is to provide a safe space for navigating life's roles. I am dedicated to assisting individuals facing challenges like anxiety, depression, self-esteem, relationships, grief, racial trauma, and career exploration. As a person of color, I am committed to supporting clients from similar backgrounds and breaking mental health stigmas in underserved communities. Therapy, for me, is a collaborative journey where I empower clients to be agents of change through coping skills. I utilize strengths-based therapy, where we collaborate to identify your unique strengths to enhance effective problemsolving. I also employ CBT to reframe thoughts and behaviors, offering problem-solving techniques, stress management skills, and behavioral changes. Sessions are goal-oriented and may include homework for skill practice between sessions. Starting therapy can feel overwhelming, especially for people of color. Many of us have been led to believe that therapy isn't for us or that we don't need it. I'm here to share that therapy can lead to self-discovery, personal growth, and healing.
