About

I believe that healthy, thriving relationships are not only possible but essential to your well-being. And most important is the relationship you have with your self. Together we will discover new ways of navigating life and engaging with yourself and others that support deep and lively connection. We will focus on building bridges, not walls, restoring trust and inviting curiosity. Particular areas of specialization include mindfulness-based stress reduction for depression, panic, and anxiety; interventions to help navigate grief, loss, and life transitions; and innovative couples counseling for all stages of relationship.

Stress is part of life, but suffering is optional. Learning to identify and manage stress is the implicit goal of all therapy. I help my clients to see stress as information by cultivating mindfulness--an awareness of what's actually happening in the present moment, without judgment. This creates options, from which a healthy response can be chosen.

Part of you wants to reach out and share what's happening in your thoughts and life, while another part wants you to just be quiet and carry on. I get it. What if you could get to know both of those parts better, and many others? What if you could make some room for all the voices inside of you to be heard? That's therapy. I can't wait to meet all of you.
