I work with clients who are struggling to manage overwhelming emotions. Many of my clients are struggling with suicidal ideation, self-harm, interpersonal conflicts, and other self-destructive coping techniques. I also work with clients diagnosed with borderline personality disorder, anxiety, and depression. Together, we will work to explore old patterns and navigate difficult life circumstances. We will build coping tools to better understand and regulate big emotions, and to create the life you want to live. I believe we all have the capacity for change given the right tools and supportive guidance. I am trained in and primarily offer Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT). I work with teens and adults. I am licensed and practice in MD, VA, DC, and NY, and have availability for virtual sessions weekdays during the day and evening. Please reach out to learn more and to assess fit. I would be honored to support you or your child in your therapy journey. I am a graduate of the Columbia University School of Social Work and the Columbia DBT Training Program, where I received intensive training in DBT with suicidal and emotionally dysregulated adolescents and adults. I received my BA in psychology and Spanish from Stanford University, and worked for a nonprofit doing trauma research prior to obtaining my LMSW.
