Therapists » Clinical Social Work/Therapist
I am glad you have found your way to this page. My master's degree is from the University of Chicago. I work with adults of all ages, college students and teens who are anxious/stressed, sad/depressed, dealing with relationship issues, divorce, trauma & eating disorders (and more) for 30+ years. I can help you to understand your reactions, navigate road blocks, identify self destructive behaviors and build resilience. Along the way, I will offer perspectives, options and real solutions. It takes strength and courage to consider talking with a professional. Take the time to find a therapist that fits. I also work with teenagers and/or their parents. Being a teen today can feel daunting and parenting adolescents a seemingly unending challenge. I will help you navigate your family system, mental health, friendships, cultural influences, the digital landscape & competitive environment that leave most teens & parents feeling stressed, unprepared & worried. I offer a warm, judgment free, confidential environment. An interactive therapist, I integrate a variety of techniques (psychodynamic, CBT, relational, EMDR, etc) as I listen and provide feedback, sometimes challenging and where appropriate, a dash humor . Let's navigate this path together building understanding, strategies and peace of mind .
