About

Life is a journey. There are hills and valleys and sometimes it’s necessary to go through the valley to get to the mountaintop. I’ve always had a passion for helping people reach their goals and I look forward to providing a safe space in partnering with you on your journey to healing, reaching your goals, and self-discovery. I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker Associate and Licensed Clinical Addiction Specialist registered in NC. I earned my Bachelor of Science degree in Journalism and Mass Communications at North Carolina Agricultural & Technical State University and my Master of Social Work degree in Clinical Social Work.

I’ve worked in various settings and have a diverse social work background. I’ve worked in county-based programs, substance abuse settings, private practice, and in healthcare. I work with children, families, couples, teens, and adults. And although I’ve worked with these populations I especially enjoy working with new moms, teens, couples, and young adults.

My professional interests include working with individuals experiencing anxiety, depression, life transitions, relationship concerns, stress, self-esteem concerns, and pregnancy and postpartum moms. I have an eclectic approach to therapy and provide a safe and compassionate space for my clients to feel heard and supported.
