Navigating through the many challenges that life gives us can feel overwhelming, especially when you feel alone and uncertain about how to cope. I am passionate about helping individuals find their own inner strength to cope with challenges, such as anxiety, depression, relationship challenges, self-esteem, stress management, and life transitions. I also enjoy working with teenagers to navigate their way through school and young adults, to guide them towards finding their own identity in society. I aim to provide a non-judgmental, trustful, and collaborative space for discovery, empowerment, and growth. I believe in using compassion, empathy, and mindfulness to help my clients build on their strengths to cope with challenges in life. I utilize Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Person-Centered Therapy, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, and other creative interventions in my counseling approach. I also incorporate my clients’ culture and values into therapy. Taking the first step to starting your therapy journey can feel overwhelming, and I recognize how much courage it takes to work towards change. I aim to support you throughout this journey, by creating a safe space for you to be heard and understood.
