About

I enjoy working with college and graduate students and adults who are interested in exploring their identity, purpose and life. I specialize in Asian and Asian American, transracial adoptees, and LGBTQ clients. I also enjoy working with creative people, including writers and artists. Their issues, needs and goals might include academic struggles, career decisions, family and relationship issues, as well as immigration and assimilation concerns. My clients typically seek therapy to find relief from anxiety, depression, relationship stress, trauma and work block.

I offer attentive, compassionate and sensitive listening to help clients explore their underlying issues. I use psychodynamic and mindfulness approaches to help clients gain insight and take action in their life. As a bilingual therapist in Korean and English, I help Korean American families with communication difficulties and mental health management.

It takes courage to decide to reach out to someone else for help. I welcome the opportunity to get to know you and to see if we will work well together.
