I believe change is possible. That is one of the main reasons that I became a therapist. My over 20 years of experience have been driven by my passion for supporting positive change, including empowerment-based psychotherapy, work in the criminal justice system, and community organizing, all through the filter of social change and social justice. The journey to changing your life takes courage, confidence, and the willingness to try new ways of looking at the world. We will identify what tools work for you to address the challenges you are facing and design a daily plan that is unique to you, focusing on your strengths, goals, and commitment to creating the life you want. Some of the techniques I use are Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), tapping (TFT), meditation, and DBT. I will partner with you to address obstacles in your life, including job stress, anxiety, depression, and relationship issues, and to develop the skills, habits, and strategies that will help you to overcome and transform them. Let’s work together to help you become a change agent in your life!
