Scarlet is a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor in Idaho. She works with individuals age 15 and older struggling with suicidal ideation, depression, anxiety, PTSD, eating disorders, grief, domestic violence, sexual assault, life transitions and beyond. Her experience also includes acute mental health in the hospital setting. Scarlet comes with a strong understanding of mental illness on many levels and enjoys helping individuals find the intrinsic strength within themselves. Scarlet uses a variety of therapeutic approaches from cognitive behavioral therapy, solution focused therapy, narrative therapy, DBT, and EMDR. Scarlet's person centered approach guides individuals to connect with their best self, to heal old wounds and move forward in their lives in the direction they choose. Scarlet prides herself on being relatable, warm, collaborative and direct, while creating a safe and supportive environment. Scarlet completed her undergraduate studies in International Relations and Spanish at University of Nevada, Reno, and her graduate degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at Oregon State University, Cascades in Bend, Oregon. She has been licensed and practicing since 2019. Scarlet was born and raised in the Wood River Valley.
