About

I work primarily with adults seeking support through difficult life transitions, complex emotions and challenging life experiences. My previous professional experience serving immigrant and refugee individuals provides valuable insight and understanding of the complex challenges and experiences often impacting mental health, relationships, and family dynamics of immigrant and mixed-status families. That said, I enjoy working with all populations holding particular interest and experience working with Spanish-speaking individuals, young adults and adolescents, immigrants and refugees, and bicultural/multicultural individuals.

Treatment support areas may include anxiety, depression, social and relationship issues, self-esteem, behavioral and adjustment struggles, loss/grief, and working through various forms of trauma including childhood trauma among other mental health concerns. Most common interventions offered: Psychotherapy, CBT, DBT, supportive reflection and skill building.

Whatever your background and journey, I seek to provide a safe and empathetic space to process your unique experiences and challenges. As your therapist, my role is to partner with you and support you through your personal healing, discovery, and growth as you build the skills to cope, overcome, and create healthy positive change.
