Welcome to my practice! My name is Sandy DeAtley, and I am a licensed clinical social worker. I have 10 years of experience working directly with clients seeking positive change. My approach is always person-centered, and trauma informed. I work towards building a trusting and collaborative relationship with each client so that we can find the best method of treatment tailored to the individual. I have worked with diverse client populations in many walks of life but have the most experience with addiction, anxiety, depression, and trauma. I view my work with each client as an opportunity to learn about them and how I can best work with them towards achieving their goals. My sessions provide a safe environment for clients to talk about whatever they like. I am very open minded and non-judgmental. My clients are the expert on themselves so it is important for me to listen and learn all I can. I would go over the results of the assessments with the client and answer any questions they may have, and then finally I would ask them to identify one or two goals by the next session, instruct the client in a breathing exercise if time allows, and schedule the client's next appointment.
