I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and I work with children and adolescents struggling with anxiety and depression. The majority of my experience and training has been in the school setting providing individual and group therapy to elementary and middle school aged students. I am passionate about working with the LGBTQ+ population, children and teens that may be struggling socially in their peer relationships, improving self-esteem, managing stress, and children with behavioral issues and developmental disabilities. I use a variety of therapeutic approaches depending on an individual's needs and goals, with an emphasis on Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Solution-Focused Therapy. I believe that therapy does not always have to be very serious and feel that humor is an important part of the process. Finding a therapist that is a good fit for you is a very personal decision. I work hard to establish a strong connection and rapport so that we are able to do our best work together. My goal is to create a 100% judgement and stigma-free space where you can freely express yourself and feel empowered.
