About

*Not taking new clients. Contact via email highly preferred.* One friend says to another, “Where did you find your happiness? I’ve been looking for it everywhere!” The friend replies, “I created it myself.” I believe that happiness can be found for everyone, but it does take some work, and maybe some help! I’ve been working with survivors of trauma since 2012, and am comfortable assisting folks struggling with anxiety and depression. I specialize in working with either individuals or couples/groups in alternative lifestyles, particularly those in open or ethical non-monogamous relationships and/or BDSM/kink.

I favor CBT-focused techniques (thoughts +feelings+behaviors) with elements of neurobiology and psycholinguistics. I embrace discomfort, which allows for growth, and rely heavily on skill work especially in regards to communication and coping. I want my clients to feel like they are able to add to the toolbox they need in order to create their happiness.

If you're someone who's been looking for a therapist who just "gets it," via healthcare, ethical non-monogamy, the kink community, anxiety/depression, or trauma, I might be a good fit for you. I prefer a no-bullshit approach and will walk the walk with you. Here's to happiness!
