Therapists » Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor
I decided to become a therapist to help others like myself discover their story, improve connections, and rebuild their inner worlds. If you're looking for a therapist who is compassionate, nonjudgmental, and a little goofy... you've found her! I want my clients to feel heard, understood, and supported as they process their thoughts, feelings, and experiences. We will celebrate progressive, incremental wins together, but also hold space to learn from opportunities for growth. I hope that my clients feel empowered and active participants in their healing. My approach is holistic and trauma-informed; so I believe in treatment that addresses spiritual, physical, mental, emotional, and social wellness. I use techniques from acceptance commitment therapy, polyvagal theory, relational-cultural theory, and existentialism in my practice. As a veteran therapy client myself, I have met my fair share of counselors (some I clicked with and some not so much!) I understand that the therapy process can at times feel daunting, embarrassing, or overwhelming. My hope is to provide a safe space rooted in mutual respect and trust. You don't have to do this alone!
