About

Too often, children are taught that large emotions should be smothered and/or hidden, leading to a future filled with conflict avoidance, difficulties with self-esteem, and a belief of not being able to have an influence in their own life. I am looking to help those who want a course-correction, who want to learn how to be able to set and enforce boundaries with friends, family, and strangers alike, and who want to believe that they deserve those things.

My therapeutic style has evolved into primarily addressing unexpressed emotions and exploring moments in a persons life that they have "tucked away." I feel fulfilled when I'm able to help a client resolve those moments, forgive themselves, and use those lessons to progress in their individual goals.

Ultimately, I view therapy as a collaborative experience built on trust and mutual understanding. I understand that it may be difficult to carve an hour out of your week, whether that's from a busy life or the effort it may take to even leave your bed. However, if you find the strength to do so, you'll find someone who will be with you every step of the way.
