I understand that starting a new therapeutic relationship can be a vulnerable process. I take a welcoming, empathic, and nonjudgemental approach. Therapy is the opportunity to slow down, pay attention, and listen deeply to the heart, which can be incredibly healing. I see the therapeutic relationship as a collaborative one. Each individual is unique, so your pathway to healing is unique also. I take a person-centered approach and utilize various techniques to meet you where you are and move forward from there. My approach incorporates the techniques of mindfulness, expressive arts, sand tray techniques, self-compassion practices, Dialectial Behavior Therapy (DBT), parts work, grief work, psychodynamic exploration, and yoga.
