A warm hello! I want to put a big welcome mat out for those who may need help but are hesitant about being open with a therapist. There is a fresh start and new hope in talking with someone who understands and is well trained to help. I am trained in psychodynamic therapy and understand people through early childhood, object relations, and attachment theory. I can help with depression, anxiety, abuse, and relationship issues. I have had extensive experience with college students and women's fertility, abortion, and loss issues. You will find me to be gentle and non-judgemental. I am a retired Army Medical Corps Officer and am passionate about working with military personnel - active duty or veterans. Military life is special and requires understanding by someone who also wore the uniform. If you are stressed from combat experiences, suffer from abuse, anxiety and sleepless nights, depression, or relationship issues I can help. I am patient, warm, empathic, insightful, and a good listener. I understand people through their attachments and early childhood development. I want to know people and establish a relationship, allowing patients time to feel, understand, and be confident in living.
