Hi! I am a clinical social worker with over 20 years of experience in the field. I enjoy working with children (ages 10 and up), teens, and young adults (18-35) who feel that they are stuck in place. My goal is to partner with my clients to identify a path forward that includes reducing suffering and moving from merely surviving each day to thriving. I specialize in working with mood disturbances (including mood swings, depression, and passive thoughts of suicide), anxiety, perfectionism, and body image disturbances. I am LGTBQ+ affirming and believe all individuals have the right to live and express themselves authentically. I utilize a trauma informed integrative approach that draws heavily from Cognitive Behavior Therapy (CBT), Acceptance Commitment Therapy (ACT) cognitive based-self compassion training, and I am DBT informed. I also enjoy being creative and bringing art into the therapy room. This integrative approach allows me to meet the unique needs of each client. My mission is for each of my clients to feel seen and heard when they meet with me. My goal is for you to feel less alone and valued. I would love the opportunity to connect with you to see if I may be able to support you in your journey towards healing. I have immediate availability for both in-person and virtual sessions.
