About

I am a therapist because I am passionate about accompanying individuals on their self-understanding, exploration, and healing journey. The environment I provide is nonjudgmental, open, and safe. It focuses on an integration of mind, body, and spirit. I believe each individual is unique so I use a variety of approaches to assist my clients, depending on individual needs. I completed my internship and residency in Community Mental Health (IOP), Juvenile Detention Center, Methadone Clinic, Private Practice (PHP), and Residential/Acute. Currently, I provide services in DC and Virginia, but I only provide virtual sessions at this time.

The objective for each one of my clients is for them to reach a point where they can move forward to a brighter future with the skills they have learned and developed through therapy. My ultimate goal is to assist adolescents, adults, and families in need of achieving maximum satisfaction in their lives.

My educational background includes a Master of Science in Clinical Mental Health Counseling with honors from Johns Hopkins University. I am a Nationally Certified Counselor, Certified Substance Abuse Counselor, and Certified Advanced Alcohol and Drug Counselor. I am approved by the Virginia Board to supervise LPCs, CSACs, and CSAC-As clinicians.
