Change is always happening, the ebb and flow of mind, body, and spirit. So much energy spent trying to control and anticipate change so we can live our idealized lives. We bind ourselves up in the imposed binaries of good-bad, right-wrong, missing the spectrum of experiences that truly exist. All these steps to be somewhere we are not in our journey, to force movement towards "better" experience. Exhausting. What if instead of fighting for control, we could find a way to be okay where we are and foster responsive movement in our life, where we follow its flow? I aim to support clients in befriending and moving with their patterns. I offer an approach to therapy that sees the value and genius in where you are right now. By starting from a place of curiosity and compassion, together we can build a path forward that works with your patterns instead of fighting against them. By moving with your patterns we can build skills with a solid foundation, unique to your nervous system and life. I work with clients navigating relational healing after trauma by identifying patterns that once supported the safety and may now be interfering with building new connections. I also work with queer, neurodivergent, and chronically ill folks from a trauma-informed lens, recognizing the structural trauma experienced when you don't fit society's expectations.
