About

You may find yourself struggling with the demands of society along with personal stressors. I specialize in helping people understand the ways trauma, especially complex trauma, impacts their lives, their relationships, and their sense of Self. With support, one can build resilience after experiencing tremendous grief and trauma. As your counselor I aim to provide safe and therapeutic support as you garner skills to face difficult roadblocks that might otherwise seem too overwhelming to tackle or unconsciously hidden. Some of these obstacles can cause anxiety, anger, depression, insecurities, and conflicts with relationships.

As your counselor, I use specific styles and techniques to help you create a path of wellness. My methods tends to reflect a holistic framework of wellness which involves mind, body, spirit, and social integration methods. I also use culturally relevant techniques to cater to those of Black, Indigenous, and other marginalized communities.

There are multiple, if not infinite, layers and intersectionalities in ones life. My role is to help individuals examine, reflect, and explore those layers as this is essentially part of the healing journey. Counseling is a deep therapeutic relationship with the healing and the supporter. You do not need to take the journey alone.
