Therapists » Clinical Social Work/Therapist
In my work with individuals, families, and couples, I embody a supportive and accepting approach with the notion that every person has the capacity to grow even when facing challenges along the way. I am aware that for some, therapy can be threatening and uncomfortable to even consider, so I strive to create an atmosphere that is safe, comfortable and authentic. I truly believe in the positive influence of conversations that promote self-reflection, critical thinking and alternative perspectives to discover and enhance untapped skills and tools which can increase life satisfaction. Many of us get caught in repetitive, self-limiting cycles of thinking, feeling and behaving. We can all benefit from neutral, attuned and empathic listening supported by clinical perspectives and non-judgmental guidance. I draw from various types of therapy including: CBT, DBT, MI, EFT, Narrative Therapy and Mindfulness Training. I feel called to assist individuals with easing difficulties as much as possible. Therapy can help us to notice and acknowledge when we're caught and become free to choose alternatives. As we work together through whatever challenges influenced your decision to consider therapy, I hope to assist you in reducing suffering and enjoying abundance and happiness.
