I provide compassionate care to my clients, seeking to speak wisdom and truth into their lives in practical ways that help promote emotional healing and hope. Anxiety, panic, OCD, depression, overcoming trauma, grief, as well as serious mental illness all require specialized treatment which I would be privileged to help you apply to your life struggles. My background includes training in empirically supported therapies, and I seek to match my therapeutic approach to my clients. I don't discriminate based on any factors (race, gender, religion), although I have special training in helping people integrate their faith to facilitate healing. One challenge clients have is to overcome the unfortunate stigma of psychotherapy. Research demonstrates that therapy is beneficial to the majority of people who seek help. It is a worthwhile investment, particularly since divorce and ones health can be costly alternatives. It would be my privilege to help you. Since 1993, I have been going on annual mission trips to South America to teach Christian leaders in counseling related skills. I founded the Christian Counseling Consortium of South Jersey in 1998, but have worked in both inpatient and outpatient community settings in the past, supervising many other therapists.
