Many of us encounter situations that impact our mental health and search for someone to collaborate with to improve our mental health. I offer such collaboration to help you find your own solutions and develop your own ability to make positive changes in your life. I also provide a supportive, outside perspective, and will introduce you to evidence-based practices from both Cognitive Behavior Therapy and Dialectical Behavior Therapy to help you become comfortable with emotions and examine automatic thoughts and core beliefs. I may also use Existential Therapy to help you find meaning and purpose and to develop value-driven goals. I have experience with major depressive disorder, anxiety disorders, PTSD, bipolar disorder, adjustment disorder, and ADHD, as well as phase of life issues, relationship and communication issues, educational issues, and various forms of familial conflict. I have also worked with single fathers and the unique challenges they often face. I am committed to providing you with a space in which to talk through and process your experiences, however traumatic, and incorporate them into your life narrative in a way that focuses upon and enhances your strength and resiliency. I hope that together we can both construct and walk the path to wellness!
