About

I have been practicing psychotherapy in Portland, Oregon for over thirty years. Initially trained as a child and family therapist in the psychodynamic tradition at the University of Michigan, I have since continued to broaden and deepen my experience and skills through further training in and study of Gestalt therapy theory, contemporary psychoanalysis, Collaborative Couple Therapy, anthroposophy, and hatha yoga. Please feel free to check my website for more information on everything I offer.

More recently, I have combined my life-long passion for painting with my enthusiasm for the healing power of the psychotherapeutic relationship. Drawing on skills from both traditions I now offer a therapy called curative painting, providing a dynamic, compassionate and individualized approach for my clients who are interested in exploring this life-enriching exercise.

I feel privileged to have founded The Art Hall at Cedarwood Waldorf School, an innovative gallery dedicated to presenting exhibits and presenations on art and anthroposophy. I have walked El Camino de Santiago de Compostela four times, the Frances twice, Portuguese, Norte. These experiences deepen my love for humanity, life and the honor in serving others.
