It is OK to not feel OK! In fact, it makes absolute sense that you may be experiencing feelings of anxiety, depression, anger, irritability, and discontent as you try your best to navigate a world that can be chaotic to say the least! In my experience, sometimes just talking through these difficulties with a therapist can help to recalibrate our hard wiring as we work to find what is most effective for us to move forward. I applaud you in taking an enormous step in trusting the therapeutic process by saying "YES" to yourself. I am here as a means to help guide and navigate the journey in reaching your therapeutic goals. As for me, I am a retired combat Veteran and mental health clinician that uses an empathetic approach with a trauma-informed lens that encourages clients to work on their therapeutic goals through a collaborative process. I enjoy using the components of CBT, DBT, and mindfulness as a means to harness and channel our emotions, thoughts, and behaviors. In my experience, therapy provides a safe space that enables you to give yourself permission to be vulnerable and actually "feel those feelings." I pride myself on meeting you where you are at as a client. Please reach out for a consultation as I would love to see how I can be of help along your healing journey.
