About

Hi all, I have been practicing therapy in New Mexico for the past 15 years. I graduated from the University of Minnesota in 2007 with a BA in psychology and graduated from NMSU in 2009 with an MA in counseling psychology. I see clients for individual therapy and couples therapy and have had my own private practice for the past 5 years. I work with people who are struggling with anxiety, depression, trauma, bipolar, or personality disorders. Couples therapy is often conducted through the lens of attachment styles, family of origin dynamics, and clarification of identity.

A large amount of my continuing education since grad school has been in the fields of meditation, mindfulness, the benefits of eastern philosophy on the psyche, and how these ideas can be applied to improve neural pathways that have been locked into a depressive or anxious condition. Therapy is a process that can help improve readiness to utilize these tools

In-person sessions available in Las Cruces only. Telehealth available throughout New Mexico. I am interested in creating support groups for individuals marginalized by the changing political climate and related reductions in access to healthcare for women and gender-affirming care. Please email me to express interest; groups will be formed based on interest
