About

*In-person & Telehealth (Remote) Appointments Available* Understanding how to manage mental health can be critical during uncertain times. I am a licensed mental health counselor with a PhD in Behavioral Science, over 15 years experience, and expertise in physiological components of anxiety and interpersonal relationships. My goal is to understand your unique circumstances and give you tools and strategies needed to deal with emotional and interpersonal challenges. These include thinking methods, problem solving tactics, and physiological techniques - evidenced based approaches known to impart lasting change.

As a clinician/scientist, I’ll apply advanced methods, measures, and tools to help you find insights into yourself and your relationships, incorporating evidenced based therapies including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Mindfulness Meditation along with emerging technologies such as wearable physiological sensors and mobile apps.

I’m also a physiological synchrony researcher (e.g., synchrony between people’s nervous systems) and research affiliate with MIT’s affective computing group, and aim to help others understand how these cutting-edge findings can inform their lives and relationships. I’ve spent my career working to help others and do my best to meet the needs of all my clients
