Depression and anxiety, job stress, health concerns and relationship issues are aspects of life which can easily overwhelm us, especially when we don't understand their underlying causes or what to do about them. My aim as a therapist is to provide a supportive and compassionate environment, establishing the foundation to facilitate growth and change. Our time together will be tailored to addressing the specific needs and issues that you're struggling with. Through this process,we'll build towards having greater insight and clarity about yourself and navigating the inevitable ups and downs of life The source of old destructive habits can be difficult to identify. My approach is rooted in Accelerated Experiential Dynamic Psychotherapy (AEDP) which helps bring to life and transform underlying, hard to face emotions, memories and experiences in such a way that brings integration, and a new sense of connection and authenticity. I have a particular interest in working with blended families and step parenting in addressing the challenges that often emerge with couples and children when forming and building a new family system.
