Therapists » Clinical Social Work/Therapist
I work primarily with individuals (ages 15 and up) and families, specializing in trauma, mental illness, attachment and relationship issues, and the difficulty that comes with life transitions. I also have an interest in adults with parents who have personality disorders or mental illness, as well as caregivers of children with mental illness. Therapy can feel big and scary, however it doesn't have to be! Taking this step is about choosing to prioritize your own health and needs. My priority in treatment is supporting you to increase self-care, self-love, and guide you towards wellness and healing. I consider myself to have an eclectic style, pulling from trauma models, mindfulness models, Internal Family Systems theory, and narrative therapy. I understand that not every model or intervention works for every person, and enjoy supporting clients to discover what modality best fits their path to wellness! I work to create and maintain a safe, comfortable, and validating environment, both physically and within the scope of the therapist-client relationship. I am strengths-based and client-centered; I believe every person has inherent strengths and strive to meet you where you are in your treatment.
