My name is Beka Davis, MDiv, MA, LPC, CAS. Having worked with people for many years, I have a deep appreciation for people's resilience and capacity to learn, heal, and live well in the midst of life's challenges. I am a contemplative therapist, with a trauma informed lens. Using mindfulness and a holistic approach, I partner with you to find a way towards a more fulfilling life. If you are feeling stuck and have unresolved trauma and are looking to find a path forward that feels more in line with how you want to be living, I can partner with you. I have been interested in working with people since my early twenties. Because of my own desire to support family and an early death of my brother, I was interested in psychology as well as spiritual beliefs. The longer I continue to be moved and inspired by the human experience and the tremendous resilience and strength that people demonstrate. You and I will partner in a step-by-step goals that are attainable and move you in a direction that brings you closer to your own sense of health and well-being. During a first session we will get to know each other, understand the framework of therapy, and hear what brings you in and what your goals are for the work we do together.
