Therapists » Clinical Social Work/Therapist
IN-PERSON sessions offered in my Burlington, MA office. My approach is relational and in the here-and-now. My style is warm, engaging, and focused on assisting my clients in getting through, and learning from, the difficulties of depression, anxiety, communication issues, and life transitions, to name a few. I have been told that I am "direct and to-the-point", focusing on specific solutions. Most of my clients are surprised at how quickly they feel better. It is my goal to be able to work with you to move more quickly towards your goals as well as help you to feel "comfortable in your skin" and more contented with your life. My particular areas of expertise include: Depression and Anxiety, Relationship Building and Communication, Recovery and ACOA/Co-dependence issues. Other areas of interest include: Body Image and self-esteem, Resolving self-defeating behaviors and thinking. Motivational techniques are useful in helping my clients pivot toward their goals. You have hit a tough patch and life is not going the way that you hoped. You're not sure about what is getting in your way and you are ready to talk about it with an experienced therapist (almost 30 years), maybe even just a few sessions to see if you can get back on track, or determine if that relationship/situation is ideal for you.
