About

People come to see me when they are struggling with self-defeating patterns, depression, anxiety, relationship issues, professional challenges, or seeking greater balance in their lives. I provide a warm, safe environment that fosters authentic and collaborative therapeutic relationships. I believe in the integrity of my clients and the uniqueness of their life stories and experiences. I believe our inner dialogue and self-narrative shapes the way in which we see and interact with our world and the relationships we hold. People describe me as compassionate and someone who brings understanding and acceptance into the therapy room.

I believe in integrating clinical and practical approaches. I draw from person-centered, cognitive-behavioral, acceptance and commitment, and narrative therapy as well as mindfulness and solution-focused techniques. I use the mind/body connection to promote a deeper understanding of the history of trauma and to facilitate healing.

Together we will explore and bring awareness to the areas that influence experience, motivate behavior, and contribute to the struggles present in your life. My commitment is to helping you achieve balance and success in the areas that are most meaningful to you. This includes approaches that can be integrated into your everyday lifestyle.
