About

I am Rebecca MacGillivray, a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW) with over 9 years of experience. I specialize in helping clients who are dealing with anxiety, phobias, chronic stress, addiction, trauma, PTSD, and depression. I also have experience working with individuals struggling with identity issues. I earned my Master's degree in Social Work from Aurora University, and I approach therapy with empathy, working hard to build a strong therapeutic relationship with each of my clients. View 5 Photos

My goal is to provide a safe, collaborative, and confidential environment where we can explore any issues of concern. I utilize a variety of treatment approaches, including cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), client-centered interventions, and dialectical behavioral therapy (DBT)

Taking the first step to engage in therapy takes great courage, and I understand how difficult this can be. I strive to support each of my clients through this process, and I look forward to working together to help you reach your personal goals.
