My names is Rebecca Lee, and I am a licensed mental health counselor in the state of Massachusetts. I have 20 years' experience working in the behavioral health field. Some of areas of focus include anxiety, depression, marital conflict, self-esteem, addiction and life changes. First and foremost, I practice from a person centered and trauma focused lens. Building rapport is of the utmost importance to me. I want you to feel safe in the therapeutic relationship. Comment approaches include CBT, DBT, Solution Focused Brief Therapy and Motivational Interviewing. I work with adults (18 +), couples and families. I routinely work with the following diagnoses: anxiety, panic disorder, major depressive disorder, bipolar disorder, and PTSD. I also have experience working with individuals struggling with self-esteem, grief, anger management, and difficulty adjusting to life changes. I have always cared about people. I was a peer counselor in junior high and high school and helped support peers when they requested to talk to a classmate. My first psychology class was in high school, and I was immediately intrigued. Simply put, I care about people's feelings and experiences.
