About

I have been in the field of social work since 2007, and my approach focuses on healing obstacles to attaining peace and satisfaction in your life. My style of practice is relational, and my aim is to offer expert support as you navigate challenges at your own pace. I specialize in working with individuals and couples who feel disconnected, specifically those who have experienced trauma and contend with its impact on their sense of wellbeing. I often have success working with people who have had unsatisfying therapy experiences, and my clients include therapists, abuse survivors, teachers, and first responders.

No matter who you are, my approach to working with you will be non-judgmental, compassionate, and direct. I strive to consider each person's many contexts (e.g. racial, cultural, generational, historical) and to be attuned to the subtle ways in which past and present life circumstances might impact feelings of safety, authenticity, and wholeness.

As a yoga instructor and certified EMDR practitioner, I am dedicated to mind-body healing. I love working with anyone who wants to look closely at all the “whys” of life: Why is this happening? Why am I afraid of change? Why now? In our work together, I will strive to understand you and help you find a sense of completeness and belonging in your world.
