Have you lost someone you love? Are you undergoing a life transition such as aging, a job change, a move, a health issue, or retirement? Even positive transitions involve loss. The resulting grief can bring many aspects of your life into question, reopening old wounds or triggering symptoms such as anxiety or depression - even as life's daily demands press us to push away these experiences. That can be lonely! I offer a safe space where your full experience is welcome, because when we listen to grief and keep it company, it becomes easier to manage. It may even open a door to something new. I specialize in depth therapy and dreamwork for people wrestling with grief of all kinds. Depending on your preferences, we may explore your history, work with your dreams, do somatic work, process trauma, re-imagine your story arc, or examine relational patterns as they unfold between us. My approach is supportive, non-pathologizing, and collaborative. Therapy can feel like trekking through a forest populated within unknown parts of yourself. While some discoveries may be thrilling, some may be difficult. It helps to have a therapist who listens deeply, recognizes the terrain, and can point a flashlight. To see if the fit feels right, please contact me to schedule a free consultation.
