About

Hi there! Thanks for your interest in my practice! I have extensive training in dialectical behavior therapy, trauma-focused cognitive behavioral therapy, and psychodynamic theory. I combine a practical, skills-focused approach with relational, insight-oriented therapy to support each individual holistically. I have specialized clinical experience with adolescents, young adults, and families and in treating anxiety, depression, and trauma. My style is warm, compassionate, and validating.

My goal for our sessions is to work collaboratively on building your awareness and implementing any preferred changes; it is very important to me that you feel comfortable, validated, and understood. You will be seen as the expert of your own experience; I will listen, provide reflections, and offer coping strategies as needed.

The first step is to set up a 15-minute phone consultation. We will explore what brings you to therapy and what your goals are for our sessions. Our first session will be spent gathering important psychosocial information before we start our regular weekly or bimonthly sessions. I look forward to working together!
