About

I have been a mental health professional for almost 40 years in a variety of settings. My experience includes service in three community mental health centers in Tennessee and Arkansas, a State Hospital internship and four years as a Staff Psychologist with the Arkansas Department of Correction. I have seen clients from a wide-range of settings with a wide-range of challenging problems. My primary focus is providing assistance to those experiencing emotional disturbances which have become overwhelming to the extent of threatening, or actually damaging the quality of the person's life.

I work with individual adults 21 years and older. My specialties include anxiety, depression, grief/loss, trauma, treatment and testing of Police & Public Safety employees, and other clinical concerns. I employ a variety of techniques and emotional support to determine what is most effective in helping people confront and adapt to life's challenges.

I am a Clinical & Police Psychologist. I am Board Certified as a Specialist in Police & Public Safety Psychology by the American Board of Professional Psychology (ABPP). I have training in Critical-Incident Stress Management (CISM), Threat Assessment, School Violence, Risk Management, Pre-employment Assessments, and Return to Duty Evaluations.
