About

I am a licensed clinical psychologist with over 30 years experience treating children, adolescents, and young adults with anxiety and obsessive-compulsive disorders, autism spectrum disorder, bipolar disorder, school phobia, ADHD, and developmental disabilities. I help parents and families navigate the stresses and challenges associated with these diagnoses within a therapeutic relationship that is empathetic, nonjudgmental, and nurturing. I aim to provide my clients with the tools and strategies to cope successfully with the frustrations of daily life, make sound choices and decisions, and understand their strengths and weaknesses.

I specialize in cognitive-behavioral therapy and applied behavior analysis. I graduated cum laude from New York University and received my master's and doctoral degrees from the University of Wisconsin-Madison. I was previously the Administrator of a residential school for autistic children and since 1988 have been a Psychologist at Western Suffolk BOCES.

I have had the distinct privilege of working closely with B.F. Skinner, the founding father of Behavioral Psychology. I have acquired broad experience in testing, designing and implementing intervention plans, and teaching new patterns of behavior. I am here to help you ameliorate emotional issues and social conflicts and pave the way for personal growth.
