I believe in the power of the therapeutic relationship and co-creating an environment for you to share and explore your most authentic range of emotions, especially the ones you were taught to hide. I often work with trans and queer community and folks with marginalized relationship structures/embodiments. I use a contemporary relational psychoanalytic lens, and am informed by queer and post modern theory. My work primarily focuses on assisting folks exploring their self through the intersubjective experience in the therapy room and prioritizes working in depth with and through interpreting the unconscious. My style is highly relational and focused on connection to the past through curiosity in here and now. I have received sexual health and gender specialty supervision and training (AASECT). Additionally, I am a candidate at the Minnesota Psychoanalytic Society & Institute's (MPSI) Psychoanalytic Psychotherapy Training Program (PPTP). I strive to always be learning, growing, and joining you where you’re at with authenticity, honesty, and humility. I value and prioritize your full subjective experience and am honored by the opportunity to be a container for your story and to explore with you any affect, thought, or association that presents itself in the therapeutic dynamic.
