My goal as your counselor is to help form and maintain a safe and trusting therapeutic relationship. It is important for my client's to know that their story matters and that I am here alongside them to help them heal and grow. I do this by using a number of evidenced based approaches such as EMDR, CBT, DBT, MI, RCT, and person-centered therapy. I also love to incorporate art into my therapy sessions. Lets get creative! Some areas of focus for me include but are not limited to trauma (including complex), domestic and sexual violence, relationship challenges, LGBTQIA+, alternative lifestyles such as non-monogamy/polyamory and kink, sexuality, sexual orientation/identity, anxiety, depression, stress management, grief, significant life changes, and mood disorders. Reaching out for help can feel nearly impossible at times and the fact that you are here is something to feel truly proud of! I'm honored to be considered as your therapist and I look forward to hearing from you if you feel that I may be a good fit.
