About

People often seek therapy because something in their life is causing them pain and discomfort. I often work with individuals who "from the outside" look like they "have it all together," but on the inside, they feel like they are falling apart. When you permit yourself to ask for help to explore your feelings, thoughts, and behaviors, you create more room for yourself. You don't have to hold everything so tightly. My therapeutic approach is warm, active ( I won't just sit and stare at you), and collaborative (therapy requires work and personal responsibility).

Humor is always invited and appreciated; being able to laugh a little and not take yourself so seriously can be very beneficial. Together we use presence to become aware of what you do and how you do it. It is with the awareness that we discover choice. You cannot change what you cannot see.

I believe in the power of connection and know that within us all is a deep desire to feel seen, understood, and acknowledged. I specialize in working with anxiety, self-esteem, relationship issues, life transitions, and grief/loss.
