Life is so much harder than it used to be. We are constantly being challenged and it is often hard to determine what the best next option would be for you. Often times it is difficult to find the best way to manage daily challenges and understand how to meet expectations set by others as well as ourselves. It can be hard to manage stress, worry, sadness, past trauma, and relationships. It is important to remember that you are not alone and there is room for things to get better. The focus is to identify the best way to manage each situation, it is a struggle to know where to start. My approach is based on each persons needs, abilities and focus. Incorporating creativity, flexibility and awareness, I establish a caring connection with you to build on your strengths and collaborate with you towards meeting your goals and living your life in a way that is meaningful to you. I incorporate my trained therapy dog as part of the sessions. Taking the first step to ask for help can be a very difficult one, especially when you are not certain what the problem is. My approach to counseling is to help guide each client through their personal journey without judgement or criticism. This is a process of meeting you where you are and helping each person determine what it is that they want.
