Psychotherapy is about making meaningful changes. I work to help people become unstuck, overcome anxiety and learn about who they are and who they want to be. People who work with me describe me as accepting, interactive and authentic. I will listen to you closely and ask questions that make you think. In addition, I will challenge you to actively make changes in order to live a life more closely in line with your personal values. Therapy helps people gain clarity, manage difficult situations and emotions, and feel more connected to themselves and to others. Using a combination of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, I help adults who are struggling with relationship difficulties, life transitions, anxiety, and spiritual concerns. I am licensed to practice psychology in both New York and North Carolina, and also licensed to practice telepsychology in 39 other states. I am looking forward to hearing your story, and helping you take the next step towards becoming the person you are meant to be.
